Your experience matters most to me

Natural born artist, turned chef, turned photographer, I simply want to spend my life creating beautiful things.

With tattoos on my wrists that read “just love”, my mission is clear. My life is devoted to my partner, Christopher, my two amazing dogs Ashland and Harley, and helping couples tell their love story through imagery and adventure.

Born and raised in the idyllic coastal town of Santa Cruz, California, I've been captivated by the art of photography since my earliest memories.

Growing up, I was instilled with a strong work ethic by my hardworking parents, who believed in the power of dedication and perseverance. This mindset pushed me to excel academically, allowing me to graduate from high school two years ahead of my peers. With my diploma in hand, I eagerly dove headfirst into the world of photography, turning my passion into a full-time profession.

While the weekdays were filled with shutter clicks and editing sessions, the weekends became cherished moments of relaxation and rejuvenation. Surrounded by my chosen family of like-minded individuals who shared my love for adventure and good food, we embarked on countless escapades that became the tapestry of my childhood memories.

The stunning natural landscapes that surrounded me served as an endless source of inspiration, fueling my desire to capture moments of beauty and emotion through the lens of my camera.

From exhilarating drives along the enchanting highway 1, with its breathtaking views of the rugged California coast, to misty nights exploring the enchanting alleys of San Francisco, every experience served as a reminder to savor every moment and embrace the richness life has to offer. And nestled amidst this picturesque backdrop, camping trips under the starry blanket of Big Sur became a cherished tradition, where the serenity of nature engulfed my senses, igniting a sense of peace and tranquility within me.

These formative experiences at a tender age shaped not only my passion for photography but also my outlook on life. They taught me the importance of fully immersing myself in the present, of finding beauty in every corner of the world, and of cherishing the connections we forge with both people and nature.

To me, photography is not merely a profession but a profound way to document and celebrate the abundant marvels that surround us.

Each click of my camera is a testament to these guiding principles, a way to share the joys and wonders that I've had the privilege of witnessing and preserving. Embracing the mantra of "work hard, play harder," I continue to pour my heart and soul into my craft, striving to capture the essence of life's extraordinary moments and encapsulate them in timeless works of art. As the saying goes, life is too short to not follow your passion, and that is precisely what I intend to do through my lifelong love affair with photography.

  • I ask that all of my clients respect my craft and my work. This is my art and I do not want it altered or edited in any way. Short answer is no.

  • I take my time and put a lot of creativity into my editing. Typically for smaller sessions it takes me about 2-4 weeks to finish a gallery. For my weddings and elopements, it can take me up to 10 weeks for complete galleries to be sent out. I keep communication open during the editing process and I always try to include a sneak peek highlight gallery within the first two weeks.

  • Most of my wedding and elopement packages include my travel fee. I frequently travel and I will post on my social media accounts my travel dates for the year. If I’m traveling near you, all travel fees are waived for bookings in that area during those dates.

  • If only you knew the amount of hours I work on each project. I’m not just a photographer. I’m an artist, a significant other, a small business owner and a dog-dad (my pups deserve the best ;). I take pride in the quality of my work. From our first meeting, the big day, the editing process and gallery delivery, everything I do is the highest quality.
